Application Form for Importing Plant

According to the Plant Protection and Quarantine Act of Republic of China, the importer must apply to the plant quarantine authority, the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine, for quarantine of the plants and plant products to be imported before their arrival at the ports of entry. In addition, the plants and plant products must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the National Plant Protection Organization of exporting country or area. If the plants or plant products fail to meet our quarantine requirements, they will be the subject to an appropriate quarantine treatment, be re-exported or be destroyed, the cost will be borne by the importers.

In accordance with the “Plant Protection and Quarantine Act” of the BAPHIQ, imported plants or plant products may not be exhibited in outdoor venues. If a plant prohibited from importation is to be displayed in an indoor venue, the Exhibitor must submit an application before January 10th, 2020 (extended to February 10th, 2020), and receive import approval in advance. Exhibitors are asked to pay particular attention to this requirement when selecting plants for the exhibition.
